A Letter to our Community

To Our Breaking Community,

Ghost and I (Kallen) are ending breaking streams for BariBari USA mid-May. (Please know this does not affect BariBari Japan, only Ghost and myself.) BariBari USA has been an amazing, life changing experience for us both and we are sad to go. My wrist injury has turned into more chronic pain when I open packs or sort cards. Ghost is starting to feel strain on his hands and wrists as well. Late May also starts a string of back-to-back conventions for us that wouldn’t allow us to stream anyway. We felt like mid-May was the best time to wrap up without inconveniencing too many people.

When we started BariBari USA, one of the best parts for us was that Ghost and I were able to work together all the time. When I stepped away from being on camera due to my wrist, we missed that connection. At the same time we were slowly discovering vending at conventions. We realized it was another way for us to work together and still be a part of the Pokemon world that we love. While it wasn’t an easy decision to make, we’ve decided to fully pursue being convention vendors and step away from streaming.

We'd like to have recurring merch claim sales (plushies, blind boxes, stickers) on the BariBari channel in the future. Even though we won’t be breaking anymore, we're hoping to be around every other month or so to share our latest merch with everyone.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, chatted with us, lurked in our streams, and helped us improve along the way. We have gotten to know so many of you, and it has truly been a gift. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your lives for these 2.5 years. If you ever see us at a future convention, we hope you’ll come say hello. Just shout “Sugoi!” and we’ll know what’s up.

Additional Information

SHIPPING, STORAGE DRAWERS, AND WEBSITE:

  • We will be upholding our storage policy and will continue to hold any cards/items for up to one year after your last purchase.
  • The website will remain active for at least a year (through May 2024) so that you can submit a Send My Stuff at any time, even after we’re done streaming.
  • Now that streams have wrapped up, we will have sealed packs available on the website. These are a great way to use any remaining gift cards, or to add to a Send My Stuff for a little extra fun. Again, these packs will be shipped to you sealed.
  • Gift cards will still be valid for claim sales as well.
